If you could learn any language, which would you pick and why? I would like to learn German for business purposes and one of the romance languages—either Italian or French—for personal enjoyment.
Do you have a bucket list? What is something you are hoping to check off the list soon? I would like to travel the world with my family, however shortlisting the countries is difficult!
What are you most proud of (personally and/or professionally)? Personally, I’m proud of my wonderful family. My wife and three girls give me immense pride, joy and entertainment! Professionally, I am very proud of joining this company in 2010, working at growing our team and for achieving MCMI qualifications in 2016.
What is your day-to-day work like at Welocalize Life Sciences? My day-to-day work revolves over meeting and speaking to existing clients, prospecting and winning over new clients, building proposals for new projects and proposing innovative language solutions.
What are your best tips for keeping projects on task? My best tip is to focus on prioritizing critical issues, blocking time to concentrate on a specific project and writing down what needs to be accomplished.
What life sciences and language industry publications or resources do you recommend? I recommend reading publications from SAMEDEN LTD (such as International Clinical Trials), Multilingual magazine and The Economic Times.
Any trends you’re seeing in the life sciences industry? The life sciences industry is changing with small niche players being bought by large players, both in the CRO and Pharma sectors. Plus, technology continues to play a large role.
